All this MARS stuff was instigated by that rollicking madman Barry Weathersby!  While surfing the net one afternoon I came upon a link to USMC MARS Operations in Vietnam. (Use your browser's back button to return here.)

Following the link I came upon Barry's GREAT site.  Reading the guestbook, brought shivers down my backbone and tears to my eyes. (We now share the same Guest Book) I signed the guestbook and a couple of days later got an email from Barry.  He put me on his "MARS" email list and since then we've kept in touch.  When he was asked about participating in the Historical Society Project he put it out on the email circuit and I volunteered an email-box  on my company site.  In the meantime Barry was moving his site from PacBell to Cox and some of the links disappeared.  We're trying to get those all patched up and the site moved here as a sub-web.

Also about that time MGySgt Jim Bogue hooked us up in a Yahoo club - (now a Group) so we could jabber with each other on the message board and post pictures etc.  A few of us have done so and I encourage the rest of you to check it out and join up at Yahoo Groups MARS and Vietnam.  That way you are able to share messages with the MARS group more easily.
