Dear Sergeant: 

In my capacity as Chairman of the Special Committee of the Tenth Meeting of Consultation of Ministers of Foreign Affairs that has acted in Santo Domingo, and as Ambassador, Representative of the Argentina Republic on the Council of the Organization of American States, I am most pleased to express my thanks for the generous and spontaneous cooperation you have given to the members of the Committee, which has been particularly useful and has greatly aided the work of the Committee, by making it possible for it to communicate with Washington by radio to keep the Meeting and the diplomatic representatives informed of the progress of the peace negotiation.

I should like to take this opportunity to thank you for the service which you rendered through Amateur Radio to the Voice of America during the Dominican crisis. Mr. Alfred Laun, HI8XAL, reported that you were most cooperative in relaying traffic which originated at his station to the VOA in Washington.  Your efforts are very much appreciated.
