Robert Jensen was a Broadcast Engineer
and an Amateur Radio operator born and raised in Nebraska. Bob was
the son of John C Jensen, 9YD, an early amateur. Mr. Jensen
graduated from Nebraska
Wesleyan University in
Lincoln, Nebraska in 1933. He contributed time and energy to many
historical projects and has three titles in the Nebraska State Historical
Society production "Film Clips of Nebraska's Past" entitled:

In 1958 Jensen
received the
Nebraska Wesleyan Alumni Association Alumni Achievement Award. During the
1960's and 70's Bob and his wife Lenore Jensen were vital members of the
US Army MARS program handling over 78,000 phone patches between them from
Vietnam.
He
can not be thanked or praised enough for his dedication, helpfulness and
good humor in assisting in-country troopers speak to their stateside loved
ones. May he forever have clear signals and great propagation.
