Got Fapped to N0MOC. While there
worked N0MOQ, N0MOB, N0MOH, N0MOA. Was first operational station (N0MEF)
out of Saudi Arabia during Gulf War. Worked Region 8 as N0IMS.
Helped provide communications for Marines with family in Mexico during
earthquake in late 1980's. Comm during hurricane Iniki in Hawaii
early 1990's I have lifelong friendships with some of the Marines I met working in MARS. I learned a lot from my NCO's and SNCO's that still inspire me in many ways. It sparked my technical interest in all things especially computers and communications in general. great people!!! |
