YOUNG, ERNEST J. JR.
Age 58 of Whitehall; on Nov. 19, 2004; beloved husband of Ann E.; loving father of E.J., Elessa, Aaron and Samuel Young; beloved son of Gladys & the late Ernest J. Young; dear brother of Samuel A. Young (Sandra); son-in-law of Stanley & Betty Wearden; brother-in-law of Peter & Andrea Wearden.

Ernest was a US Marine Corp. veteran, serving during Vietnam. He was employed with Hitachi Data Systems from 1977 to 2001; taught at St. Marys in Glenshaw from 2002 till 2003; most recently with PA Dept. of Welfare. He was a Scoutmaster for Troop #323 and active with the Cub Scout Pack #288; assisted students with Pennsylvania Junior Academy of Science. He was a ham radio operator for over 40 years as K3ZQI.

Visitation will be Sun. & Mon. 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tues. 10 am at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin Church, Whitehall. Interment Jefferson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Gabriel's School or Boy Scouts of America.
