At recreation center at Kunsan AB and overheard a couple of people asking for volunteers for MARS. After training, I was up & running. They used me to "advertise" the existence of MARS in the "Stars & Stripes". Most people were unaware of MARS and its function at Kunsan and other bases. Logged 128 hours and 143 phones patches within 15 day holiday season in December 1973. At the time, only female operator in Korea and possibly the Far East. All calls were special, especially during the holiday season.
