We see them among us, their steps are
slower now, backs stooped with age, these old soldiers who served us well.
The flag passes. They become young again,
standing tall
as they salute the flay they so love.
Look into these old eyes, and see the
souls of the young men marching off to war, protecting our country, and
our dreams.
Sixty years ago, their innocence shattered, they
answered
our nation's call. Let us remember these
heroes, those left on the battlefields in far away places, and those still
among us.
To all of the men and women who served so
heroically,
we will not forget your sacrifice for our
country and our freedom.
God bless you all!
