Helped start Army MARS station in Quang Tri in 1968.  Became NCOIC and moved the station to the MARS station of the 3rd. Marine Div. after they pulled out.  Spent 2 years in Vietnam and patched close to 5,000 phone calls during that time.

I would very much like to hear form the others who served at AB8AAK.  It has been a long time and we had a fantastic crew. We worked mainly with the Pentagon "WAR" and Don and Joyce Largent in Shafter, Calif.  I will always remember the hours and time Don and Joyce gave for those of us in the Nam.  Thank you again Don and Joyce..WA6QFJ
