Established as a United States Coast Guard Military Amateur Radio Club at the Training Center in Petaluma, California.   CAMSPAC Point Reyes  took over the station call from the Training Center.  The station is currently being rebuilt to be voice (with phone patch) and data capable.  The current Trustee for W2AIR is ITC  Eric Simmons, USCG.
