The station
was in an old French water tower in the III MAF compound. I think MSGT
Dick Steinbaugh was the MARS coordinator. I was asked to help with a night
schedule to the East Coast (N0JCQ). I think I started after Tet 68. I went
home for the month of April and when I returned the station had been
dismantled and we built a new station in one of the old French barracks
near the main road. Rick Kiter and Glen Carter were in the station at that
time. I might have the spelling wrong it's been so long. I worked in this
station until November 68. I might remember more details if I think about
it.
