GySgt Donaldson was my CHOP at N0MPN in 1984/85. We ran across each other in Saudi where he was the Comm Chief in one of the companies. He was more than happy to help us get things going. We were also assisted by the local truckers union who were standing by to ship supplies out of the area. They chipped in without much asking.
We commandeered the Comm unit and made it our home. We started with a small sign. Graduated up to the big plywood sign. We got tired of everyone asking what MARS was so Ski spent an entire day and about half dozen markers on it. Business picked up after that.
