The 4^th Infantry Division base camp was named after First Lieutenant Mark Enari, Company A, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry, 4th Infantry Division.  Lieutenant Enari was posthumously awarded the Silver Star for valor.  Camp Enari was officially named in his honor on General Orders of the 4th Infantry Division on 14 May 1967.
